Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) which has been established in
13th November 1985, has performed important activities in furnishing the
Turkish Armed Forces with modern equipment and developing the Turkish
defense industry during 38 years passed since its foundation. SSB, which
has paved great distance especially during the last term has raised the
bar with its concrete projects in critically important fields.

13 Kasım 1985 tarihinde kurulan Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı (SSB), kuruluşundan
bu yana geçen 38 yıl boyunca Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerine modern teçhizat
kazandırılması ve Türk savunma sanayisinin geliştirilmesi konusunda önemli
faaliyetlerde bulundu. Özellikle son dönemde büyük mesafe kat eden SSB, kritik
öneme sahip alanlardaki somut projeleriyle çıtayı yükseltti.
